We got a good business class ticket on Qatar Air.,my favoured airline.

We want to stay flexible but pre- booking a few stops may be sensible.

Paris. (From Frankfurt by train.)

To see some of the cultural highlights.

How to get around as handicapped.?

What was the most memorable thing for your Thai partner?

Not sure whether I got you right.

You fly to Frankfurt (return) 4 months from now (August)?

You want to travel to Paris by train and ask for stops on the route?

Also asking about Paris in particular?

Once again I'm the victim of my own cryptic. Will fly to Frankfurt. Spend time with family. By train to Paris, 1 week. Should be end of August= highest season. Would you make reservation from here? I want a stress- less time. Preferably package Hotel+ excellent organized sightseeing. That would be my humble wishes.
From thereon Switzerland-Milan.
Nothing planned so far. We'll go with the wind, cable car. Scenic An Alp Route.

August is a holiday month in France and many Parisians leave the city for the countryside or beaches. Therefore you will find the city quite quiet in that month, though getting busier as September approaches and back to normal by September 1. This quietness is at least partially reflected in hotel occupancy in the city, and many small businesses will be closed.

So I would say that August isnt a bad time to go there. What you want to see and do whilst there is up to you, of course. What sort of things do you like? (Culture, food, shopping, nightlife, sights?)

Sightseeing in Paris can easily be done using the Metro/bus and an organised tour is probably unnecessary. Discounts are available: https://europeforvisitors.com/paris/articles/paris-metro-tickets.htm The Metro is especially good in August due to the relative lack of commuters.

As for booking hotels, the earlier you book the more likely you are to get a good price, but I would keep checking the booking websites daily over a period of a couple of weeks as prices do go up and down for no obvious reason.

Switzerland will rarely disappoint your partner.

Try to get as close as possible to a glacier (no snow remains in August).

If you have no specific health conditions go to Zermatt (Matterhorn) and drive up to ‎3820 meters (12500 feet) above sea with the cable. From there it's an easy walk to the ice even in August.

This way I "climbed" my only 4000er.

(don't tell anyone it's just a walk)

Similar should be possible on the French region around the Mont Blanc.

But I don't know much about it.

Milan, from there towards Ticino (Switzerland).

Lake Maggiore,  lake Lugano.

Surely among the most stunning landscapes in Europe.

Wish you a clear day:
