Art Supply Store like Somjai (Maya)

Hi,

 

I am looking to find good art supply stores in town. The only one I know is Somjai in Maya, I find it to be a very good store with good prices; even better considering its location. 

 

There is an older thread from 2012 in this forum, it's been 6 years so hoping there's more information now.

Third floor of the Stationary/Book store near the UN Irish Pub has several different lines of oil, acrylic, pastels, etc., stretched and raw canvas, frame materials, brushes, etc.  Lots of silk screening equipment, plaster and clay tools, etc., etc.

 

What are you looking for?

There's a good one on Wualai Road about 1km from the moat on the left hand side (not sure of the name, but it has a fancy yellow gate around the parking lot).

just up from KadSuanKeaw near Ai sushi is a big modern shop.

Nothing in particular. Just to see the options out there and to grab some brushes, inks, and 2.0 pencil leads.

Supposedly the best is on the campus of CMU - I believe at the art department. Samud Lanna has an excellent supply of imported items.
