I’ve just changed some of the metal guards in my house. 16 windows. I was just wondering what the price would be for the metal. They way a ton and I see people collecting scrap metal all the time. Any ideas anyone?

It's not much and depends on the metal.  Unless you plan to haul it off to the reclamation place, just contact the collector folks and you might get 100 baht.

Taking directly to a recycle yard should give a better price than the travelling collector.

The price per kg for steel will depend on the condition and mostly follows a daily price.

Collectors will usually give ฿1 per kg for steel
