Hi all,

First contribution here and love the forum. Just registered first post, Kindly requesting some advice/assistance.

My girlfriend is a senior manager in an office is 41 and speaks fluent English.

has NEVER asked me for a cent in the 13 months I have known her and 2 months we have been together. She is "traditional" meaning we have only slept together twice, first time after 9 weeks together and then a week later (mid March). She lives with her "friend". I know the location as it is a small street in a good area. I have NEVER been inside, nor invited.

Being a 50 year old fit guy, "apparently" above average looks, lean, non-smoker, VERY light drinker (a glass or two of wine/  month) we "got" along fine as she is a non-drinker,non-smoker and very career focused. I know because I met her through her job.

THE PROBLEM: She very regularly sleeps elsewhere !

I know this as I once attempted to deliver her flowers on a Sunday. I decided to have a coffee at a coffee shop opposite her house. She SMS'd me that she had woken up and was preparing for work and rushing. The coffee shop has an unblocked view to her house 50metres away and the end of her street is a dead-end and their is no ability to leave the house any other way. 

I waited thinking that I would just meet her as I see her leave the house. 20 mins later I get a message that she is now at her job !

Long story short. I decided to (stalk) the house a few times for similar "lies". It has happened more than 6 or 7 times in the past month.

I notice that she now takes the BTS whereas before she could simply walk to her house. Recently, after watching her discreetly leave work, I saw her take the BTS to "wherever".

The following day knowing what time she starts work, I again (stalked) near the BTS and 20 mins before she was to start work she strolled through the turnstiles at the BTS.

I confronted her at the station with a big smile saying good morning and that I was not aware that her street required BTS to get to work (Note: There is no BTS within 1km of her home).

She smiled and said yes there was, which she immediately realized was wrong when she saw my BS detector go off. I then demanded the truth. A story about an unwell family member then came out and of course...I was the <deleted> for being angry. I asked why I was never advised of this and was told that it was not my business ! Apparently the hospital is where she was coming from, I think.

The family member was recently discharged and she is still taking the BTS as of this morning.

 

Having worked in the region (SEA) for 20 years, I am WELL versed and due to my previous industry street smart (I think anyway).

I really do like this lady and actually had serious intentions of marriage. 

The writing should be on the wall. 

What I would really like would be some kind of "legal" LINE or iOS ability to track location, simply to ascertain the truth, being see her with another guy which sadly is what I expect.

You have been stalking your girlfriend, hells teeth man, if there is no trust get out of the relationship.

What would she think of you if she was aware that you were stalking  her.

I think sometimes it's better to take a few minutes out of your day to catch someone in a lie than it is to wait months or years for the truth.

 

You've come to a point now where you can't continue to follow her and second guess her movements every day because it's weird and a waste of your time.

 

It doesn't sound as though talking/confronting her is going to work, so if you still don't trust her then there's no point persevering.  Find a new one.

you gotta have the right feel about this woman and the situation you're

in with her, if you're not happy get out, simple as that, you see now?

mate, if you trusted her you would not be stalking her, the fact she rarely sleeps at home should also be a very strong reason to have doubts. If she is not sleeping with you then who is she sleeping with, just be honest with her, tell her how you feel about her, if she cannot commit then walk away. Last thing you want is someone that you will always be worried about, that isnt a relationship, honesty and trust are the 2 biggest parts of a relationship besides love/affection, if they are not there then  its not worth being in it.

If so, why not keep up the stalking, sounds like a lot of fun...

I'd be buying some cool disguises and trying different tactics.

Maybe get some of the spy gear from online, listening devices etc

Discussing problems with a western women works well. Unfortunately thai woman prefer no confrontation so she will lie and scale down her visits from 4 times a week to 4 times a month untill the dude decides to leave.

And (assuming the OP is not a troll, and I'm 50/50 on this) - you are right - if you have doubts, get out.

 

I've said this many times in similar threads, there's so many available women in Thailand, aim for perfection, don't tolerate any significant issues and certainly don't work around any trust issues.

Who's got the latest gen' on whether the actions would be legal in LOS?

 

How's he gonna get the phone off her, if she's not domestic with him? ... to install an App

 

How's he gonna explain how her phone has just been 'bricked' when he stuffs the phone with incorrect methods?

 

The likely Apps will not be one of those freebies, and so he'll have to continue funding a subscription... forever!

Otherwise, if he falter$$$ even the once; the mobile device will expose him via a prompt from the Vendor, for more $$$... and it will be Her that sees that deathknell Notification, on Her device

I've translated this one from English into German. Would that be legal in Thailand? I doubt it.

 

   If the OP wants to bug her phone, he's wasting even more time of his life.

sex twice in 13 months and stalking your girlfriend... with all due respect you are seem extremely inexperienced in relationships with the opposite sex (puzzling as you consider yourself, even at 50 years, a bit of a catch...)

 

some advice; get out of this dysfunctional relationship and find someone you can have a normal intimate relationship with and who you dont feel you have to stalk.
