where?

An update on this from Norwegian media .

This man was followed by a TV team one year ago , where they made an interview with him in Thailand.

In Norway he was sentenced for raping a 7 and 9 year old girl . And he went to prison for 8 years.   He admits in the TV interview he is a pedo .

Also other Norwegians living in Thailand been warning the embassy and the police that the man is still abusing kids , he also admit to a bar owner when he was drunk he had unprotected sex with a little girl!

I am sorry , this man is a monster , this is very bad . Do not send him back to Norway , send him to a Thai cell and let him rot.

The link is in a foreign language, presumably Norwegian, and the rest of the post was made by a random poster, not by any kind of official source.

"Also other Norwegians living in Thailand been warning the embassy and the police that the man is still abusing kids , he also admit to a bar owner when he was drunk he had unprotected sex with a little girl!"

Does it specifically say that above in the link text?  Or is this just random crap posted by an anonymous person with no evidence.

Cant be cured of his mental illness it seems. Even though we dont know how old the people in his videos/photos were. He was not caught doing wrong things to kids, maybe he had managed to control his mental challenges. Anyway, the fact that his home looked like trash gives a sign of a man that was not in good mental condition. Our environment tends to look the same way it looks like in our head.

You must be joking right ? Why are you defending this monster ?

I am Norwegian and I have read all there is about this case. He bragged about having unprotected sex with a minor  , a young Thai girl and the bar owner was interviewed on TV and confirm this story .

The rest of it is facts, and he is attracted to kids sexually .

I suggest you stop defending him or maybe you're just trolling but this is not the right time.

Thais call filthy unkempt bedrooms like this 'cockroach rooms', but I'm sure the last roach fled in disgust long ago.

Good thing that the cop was wearing gloves as he checked the computer.   I hate to think what bodily fluids have dribbled over that keyboard.

The clue may be in the many open bottles of beer by the bed. Thailand is an expensive place to be an alcoholic.

Unless you drink Lao Chow.....

Can they take away his visa for a crime committed in another country. Doesn't he have to go to trial?

A visa is not a right and, in Thailand at least, can be rescinded at the discretion of the authorities.

Reading the article I didn't get the impression they were inferring one had anything to do with the other. Rather that 1) he likes kids and has been charged in the past, and in addition 2) he has HIV.

If he is sexually active, particularly without full disclosure or taking precautions, then there is a risk to others, namely his wife and any child victims.

Revealing his HIV status is pertinent to the story.

Come on man.... look at this old man.. Does he even remotely look like he is still sexually active?

And what does indecent photos mean? Either it's kiddy porn in which case he committed a crime.. or it is not.

Seems to me that the police just took his past and used it as an excuse to break up his marraige and kick him out of the country.

If he had actuallu broken any laws related to his past. They would have charged him for it and he would be sitting in a prison now waiting conviction.

If he was wanted elsewhere, this article would have given details for such a juicy story and the police would not be evicting him from Thailand! They would be waiting for his extradition.

How would you like it if you had done something bad many years ago and paid for your crimes and became an honest citizen again. Only to have it thrown in your face and ruin your family again and again?

Too many TVers condemn people much to quickly like you just because they made mistakes on the past.

"Sexual activity with an HIV positive person poses a negligible risk of transmission where that person is taking HIV treatment as prescribed and has maintained a suppressed viral load based on consecutive tests done every four to six months In cases involving sexual activity between HIV-serodiscordant partners, the risk of HIV transmission is negligible where:  The partner living with HIV takes their treatment consistently, and has a viral load less than 200 copies per ml of blood (i.e., a suppressed viral load) on consecutive tests done every four to six months. o This is true whether a condom is used or not, and regardless of the sexual activity at issue;  Studies found zero transmissions under these conditions, though a statistical risk of 0.00- 0.28 transmissions per 100 person-years could not be ruled out.

"Consistent with the relevant SCC jurisprudence, the criminal law should not apply to persons living with HIV who have engaged in sexual activity without disclosing their status if they have maintained a suppressed viral load (i.e., under 200 copies per ml of blood), because the realistic possibility of transmission test is not met in these circumstances. A person living with HIV who takes their treatment as prescribed is acting responsibly."

Congratulations Thailand in trying to stigmatize HIV again. HIV really has nothing to do with a man being a kiddy fiddler !

Would be nice if you and your 'followers' attempt to see the big picture.

Is not one's disease status under the health privacy act?

Not if the person is going around deliberately infecting other people. Then it comes under the public safety and information laws. His picture can be on the front page.

Yes, tell that to the hundreds of thousands of new cases every year. Hiv is making huge new comeback. It's a hideous disease and public awareness needs to remain high. If hiv sufferers are stigmatised by that too bad.
