Learning Thai (From the Streets)

Hi all! I enjoying trying Thai street food and I realize I enjoy trying new food that I find on the streets. However, I do not know how to ask proper questions.

 

May I know how do I point to a food and ask "what is this in Thai?" or "how to you call this in Thai?" 

 

Please feel free to write in Thai Characters as well! (for ease of reading!)
