Watching fargo the series. Seems pretty good. 

It was a good picture, wouldn't mind watching it again.

Well i gave it my best shot ,but after 4 episodes ,house of cards has just lost its way ,sorry but you have been deleted .couple of days and Poldark starts as does the last series of orphan Black . they will be in the usual place

I think that the problem with a lot of these series is that they do not come up to scratch vs the originals.

 

I have just finished transferring all of my BBC VHS tapes to portable HDD and that includes Poldark, House of Cards, Onedin Line, Survivors etc.

 

IMO they are head and shoulders above the remakes. It will give us something to watch during the burning season.

Definitely one for Americans.

 

I find the humour is too much in your face rather than subtle. There are some good American comedy series (Big Bang Theory) but although they start well, they always revert to slapstick or in your face humour after the first few seasons.

 

Same for films although I did like the Fockers films as that was dry and subtle humour.

our cook was fascinated when i watched it. the young girl (named "Five") looks like a twin sister. my wife then downloaded all seasons for her.

Does Ripper Street follow a good story line or is it a good idea with fillers just to make up episode numbers.

 

I love long series but before downloading them all want to make sure there is a good story line.

A decent enough start to this new 10 part series.

The reviews I've seen have been pretty mixed.

 

Unless something gets absolutely slaughtered in the press by everyone,

I usually have a look and make my own mind up.

 

Having said that, it would have to improve for me to continue with it.

I watched Pork Pie last night.

It is available in full HD 1080p.

A very entertaining movie and the scenery is stunning.

From Auckland in the north island of New Zealand to Invercargill in the south... brilliant.

Just started watching the last series of Orphan Black , again like house of cards they need not have bothered , another one that has lost its way .unlike Twin Peaks which even though half the time you dont have a clue whats happening ,even the wife sits glued to the screen .

Tv series - El Chapo

 

Enjoyed the first episode of this one.

If you liked Narcos, you will probably like this one.

Whole series (with subs) available now.

I just watched the last episode of DR Who ,thats it after what 50 years i give up , i really have nothing at all against gay ,or black people ,i know many ,but when a "kids" show not only tries to change history but the PC crowd at the BBC try to indoctrinate people i give up , in this latest episode they managed to get two Black Roman legioners , in , also one was gay , and  and pushed the fact the doctors girl helper was lesbian , then to top it off the guy who tried to chat her up said he liked men and women ,so was Bi . 

i am just surprised they didnt manage to get a trans into the show or two people of the same sex adopting .

Just finished watching Homeland series 1 to 6. Enjoyed it. Only conclusion ,  American Doves are loved by Islamic Nutters.
