Sofa with pets recommendation?

Never purchased a sofa before, but we need one. We have a dog and would like to avoid spending more than necessary, but would like a comfortable, durable option. The ones we have seen appear to either be fairly expensive and cheap or upwards of 40,000 baht+. 

 

How do the leather sofas hold up in the heat, and are there any good value brands in Chiang Mai ? What would you do ?
