Hello   how long before my Thai driving licence expires can i get a renewal

I seem to temember 3 months...but if you renew 1 day after expiry youll get almost 1 more year for free.

Exactly.

Only go before expiry if unavoidable.

Up to one year after expiry without extra effort.

I will report back on my Sukhothai province because I didn't get anymore than 5years last time after going 1 day late.

One day after your birthday (which is the expiry date of a 5yr license)?

 

I was at our office on 13 March, 5yr expiry 12 March.

Got a new license valid until 12 March 2024.

 

For changing from temporary 2yr to 5yr this does not work. And the temporary is exactly 2 years from date of issue, not related to your birthday.

 

My license, first issue of normal license on 22 March 2012. Now extended to 12 March 2024.

My first license was related to my birthday, back then it was a 1 year provisional, got near 2 years. After that I got near 6 years on renewals...

Yeah well as said DLT's not same, so will see what happens 30th June, not really bothered one or the other.

Just getting married extension sorted too, want more again TIT snore zzzzzzz.
