My partner has an Asus Zen Pad about 3 years old. The battery may be getting a bit tired and doesn't seem to hols a charge as long as before. I don't know anything about Power Banks, only that Lazada has hundreds of them, different brands and models. What do I need to know before I buy one?

I purchased 11Ah Eloop powerbank for about 600 baht as it was recommended by knowledgeable staff.

I have been happy with it as the build quality is good. Eloop  also offers to check if the powerbank is authentic  http://szeloop.com/

One tip: Power bank MUST have visible markings how many Ampere hours it holds in case you wish to fly with it in Thailand.

I lost a tiny powerbank at Udon Thani airport few years back as my powerbank didn't have the 3000mAh marked to the cover. Yesterday at Bangkok airport my new powerbank was checked by the security staff.

I think the current limit to take a powerbank in hand luggage is maximum 2 powerbanks with total charge of 30Ah.

Tip2: Make sure that the powerbank has 2A output. Most tablets and current phones require that to charge the device.

Comes with USB-cable, not with charger.

Can probably use the same charger as the tablet.

I would think so, the tablet charger likely gives strong enough current to charge the powerbank.
