Tourist Police on Wednesday arrested a Bangkok couple for selling marijuana via parcel post and seized 10 kilograms of the weed.

Tourist Police Deputy Chief Pol Maj Gen Surachet Hakpal said on Thursday a private post office had been staked out and the pair were arrested when they came in to ship 40 parcels.

Patcharapol Chanthakamok, 24, was charged with selling marijuana last October and was free on bail.

Surachet said Anuthida Srisawang, 20, admitted they bought 50kg of ganja at a time to resell. They would normally pick it up at roadside drop-off locations in Bangkok or adjacent provinces.

I can hardly wait for legal weed here in Thailand.

These idiots just pick up their 50Kg from a drop off point,

and it's illegal.

The government can't controller it now,  when it's decriminalized,  this place is going to just gush with weed!

All the newly developed hyper-strains make Thai-stick seem like dirt weed.

Get ready people!
