Fined! Boy's relative nabbed after naked - and helmet-less - jaunt round Hat Yai

7pm.jpg

A woman who was shamed on social media after pictures showed her with a naked three year old boy on a mini motorcycle has been spoken to by the police.

The 23 year old,who was not named, said that she was making a delivery in the area around her home in the southern Thai city.

She had no idea she would end up on social media and she apologized for her actions.

Police fined her for not having licence plates, not having a licence and not having a helmet.

Though Sanook did not report on exactly how much she paid, the fines for those three offences can be as much as 10,000 baht, 1,000 baht and 500 baht respectively.

She was not charged with anything related to the little boy who is one of her relatives.

I can see why the Police would fine her, however isn't the matter of a naked toddler, being put in harms way a matter for social services? I'd love to see them do something about this constant stream of child endangerment we see here on a daily basis. I think we all accept both foreigners and Thai that there will be no change in regards to safety measures from the Police side, maybe hitting them with social services might do more.

1968, at uni, it was rag week and I lost the bet.  Bit older than the toddler and we were stopped by the police.  Just a slap on the wrist though and a miserly contribution to the Rag Week Fund!

Is that all really required on a toy bike?

What's the fine for not having a real bike to go with those real things?

That "toy bike" can still go fast enough to kill or scar for life that poor kid on the back, who should at least be able to depend on someone caring enough to protect him.

Depends on whether the bike is used on the road and if it has a motor.  Same as the UK I believe.

Has the same meaning where I come from too!  But back in the day it was a big deal at Universities and a great excuse for dressing up (or down in my case ?) and raising money!

I hope the police gave her a good talking to so she will never endanger her child's life again

Good to see she was given a strong talking to she won't dare to do that again,

And this is a prime example of Core Education "moms' having off spring, that will no less follow in their steps....but maybe the off spring will actually turn into "animals".

Not just Thailand, folks, this is happening all around the world. Thank your "keepers" for this and their vaccines, GMO's, Flourides, MSG's, "smart" phones, MSM, Leaders (Liers), ect.

Since when has talking to somebody about something, as solution for a problem in Thailand helped?

Is there such a thing as a "Social Services" Service/Department in Thailand?

Find her for not wearing a helmet , I wonder if she is the only one getting fined , I wonder if the rider on the white scooter was wearing one.

I know all the prejudices regarding Germans overreacting when it comes to rules and regulations. However, sometimes I think even creatures we used to look down at, have more common sense than the majority here:

Yes, the toddlers should all ride in child car seats in the back of the Mercedes. It's only logical.

I wish Thais would be more into nudity , the girl nude on the bike would be more interesting to the public.

The problem was him being naked !!!!!!!!!

No problem about him hanging on for dear life on the back of a bike !!!!!

How long has he been riding about like that for ?

I often see parents riding around with much younger kids than that , holding on for life .

One lost grip, falling asleep , could result in serious injury or death

Sometimes Thais, in particular Grand parents, where kids are parked, treating kids same as Soi dogs. Life is cheap and girls are fertile

You could be right ' naked 2 yo , disgusting behaviour ' .   In public too.  Up here in Lotus often mums are seen breastfeeding while waiting for checkout but I guess that is inside ; in private. Poor chap in the pic , naked as nature intended without a care in the world.

I am not talking about your words! I have no clue about how you can act so unknowing about what I am saying. Above you can clearly see the whole conversation!
First you can read Jim Walkers original post, after you can see that I quoted his post. I the thrid copied quote, you can see that you have erased my quote to Jim Walker, and replaced it with his comment. That is not a mistake. It takes work to manage to do. Maybe you understand know, and will refrain from doing so in the future. With other words, you know what I was talking about from start.

Dude, let it go. I have no idea what you're talking about. It's a blog at best, you're never going to win a Pulitzer...
