Make-up artist stabbed to death in rented room in Bangkapi - male lover suspected

Makkasan police called to an eight story block of flats in the Rama 9 area of Bangkok last night found a 43 year old man stabbed to death.

 

In room 2505 Somchai Phromjaree was found by the bed face up in white shirt and white cartoon style shorts. He had been stabbed twice in the chest, once in the neck and had one other serious wound.

 

There were signs of a struggle with blood all over the place. There was no evidence of theft.

 

The crime came to light after a work colleague tried to get in touch with the victim and went round after getting no answer over the phone.

 

The door was locked from the inside and a spare key was got to open the room before police were called.

 

The victim had lived there for 5 years and was a popular person who was no trouble to anyone.

 

His lover of the last two months - a man named only as A - is helping police with their inquiries.

 

He was found in his room, 2711 on the seventh floor, with bloodstains on his shorts.

 

Daily News suggested that the fight was jealousy over a woman.

Don't most crappy condo locks have the push button lock so they're always locked from the inside even when you lock them and go out?

 

What's the point in even saying "the door was locked from the hehe inside"? It means nothing.
