I need to sort something out with QR. I believe Qatar airways has a local office here?

Can you help with phone Nr. or email, opening times Sundays?

I've used Qatar airways, but never set foot in one of their offices. Most things can be handled online or by phone.

On the couple of occasions I actually had to contact the airline, their Phuket office proved more helpful than others (and you deal with pretty much any of them, no restriction), even bothering with followup calls to make sure things were sorted. Generally speaking, I find it one of the easier airlines to deal with.

I find it extraordinary that they apply an extra fee on top of the ticket price just for using the local office.

Eh?

Tickets bought at Air Asia 'office' next to Starbux, Tha Pae gate, are more expensive than those paid through 7/11.  The office charges a fee.  Maybe other airlines do too.

Wouldn't know, I usually buy online, often direct from airline.

Pointing out that it might not be necessary to actually head down to their local office. Most things can be sorted online, or by phone. And in both cases, doubt one needs to use the nearest airline office. We dealt with the Phuket branch, while living in BKK and elsewhere.
