The SEC will allows seven cryptocurrencies, used for initial coin offerings (ICOs), to be traded as trading pairs.

They are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ethereum classic, Litecoin, Ripple, Stellar and Bcash.

looks like they may be too late, the only use for exchanges is going to be converting to fiat. btw, did you know that btc can now  do 3.5 million tx/s?
