Can you buy green bus tickets in town?

Featured Replies

Hey,

Does anyone know where you can buy green bus tickets in town (near Thae Phae Geate) instead of going to bus station?

thank you

Been awhile but if I remember right you can buy-book  online then go pay at any 7-11

http://www.greenbusthailand.com/website/en/services/bus/trading-channel

Also  looks like a ticket counter at Chiang  Mai Gate

Chiang Mai Gate    089-6373033

Also other counter locations in Chiang Mai listed here

I have booked many times on the greenbus website as mentioned above, and also on their android app.  Pay by credit card or counter pay at 7/11.  Just make sure you keep the receipt or print out the ticket if paying by credit card....they want to see something printed out when on the bus.

Website and app is great as well you can choose your seat.

there is a Greenbus agent office, about 250 M west of the Police Station, inside the moat....

Do they charge extra for booking there ?

been a few years, but it was 20 THB per ticket.  At the time, it worked a helluva lot better than their website.
