Getting to Nonthaburi Immigration from MRT????

Featured Replies

I see it on a map...if I get off at the end of the Purple Line, what are my best options for getting to Immigration...Looks almost walkable, except for that looks like a terrible road to walk along.  Moto Taxi?  Meter Taxi?  Looks like about 3 Km to me, without measuring too much...is that correct?  Thanks in advance.  Amphur, Tessaban, MEA, and inaugural appearance at Nonthaburi Immigration Office...doesn't get much better than that...the beers afterwards will taste good.  Thanks!

Hi,

It could be around 3 km from there maybe just hire a m/c taxi to drive you to immigration from that point. I know for a fact they are available there.

Is the google maps really where the office is?  It seems way out in the middle of nowhere.

Why on earth would they put it there?

yep, I just got back.  and yes, close to 3 km from MRT.  I walked 300 m from the escalator to the corner, where you turn left.  SInce it was lunch time, I stopped and grabbed a bite....40 THB including large bottle of Coke...great fried noodles, and a few flies buzzing...will return again.  She summoned me a moto, who took me took me to  the door for 30 THB....As I was leaving, some strangers asked if I wanted a lift...nice guys...but, yeah, it is hard to believe they would put it out there..but that is it.  ..Use St. Peter's School as a landmark...about 1 km past it.  Not a good road to walk along..seen worse...but actually, I thought moto mob would be asking 60-100...so no problems...might be a lifelong customer of the lunch spot.  Immigration business went perfectly...knock wood.

I been to immigration there many times next time the 27th. I live close so I take my own motorbike to the immigration spot. Works like a charm.

makes life easier.  Do you know of a good bank branch close by there.  That will make things easier on extension day.  Krungsri would probably be my top choice.  Likely the whole bunch at the mall, but if I could even get closer, that would be better...thanks!

At the mall there is a whole bunch.. closer by there is a kasikorn branch in soi wat la pra duk. But to be honest i think it would be best to take the mrt to the mall and do your business there and then go further to that last stop and do what you did last time. If you have your own transportation the branches at soi wat la pra duk are closer and better but otherwise don't do it.
