Police were called to a washing machine retailers in Muang district after bones were found in an old washing machine in a storage room upstairs.

The bones were in a plastic bag concealed in the machine and had been there for 4 or five years.

The shop owner said that the company had previously had a promotion in which customers traded in their old machines for new.

Staff had complained about a smell in the storeroom but this had been put down to a dead rat.

The bones have been sent for analysis to see if they are human while the cops are analyzing shop records from years back to see who might have owned the old machine.

The bones were found in a second floor storeroom at the premises on Malaimaen Road.

Worst case of money-laundering ever.

Looks like the perpetrator got clean away, make no bones about it. The police said they haven't got a leg to stand on.
