Family of Murdered Student Seeks Justice Amidst Tensions in Chai Nat
Pictures courtesy of KhaoSod The grieving family of 18-year-old "Focus," a student tragically murdered by her boyfriend, held her cremation ceremony on April 9 at Wat Rat Bamrung, Chai Nat province. The suspect, 19-year-old Frank, is the foster son of a local politician, adding tension to the case. Focus, recently accepted into the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science at Kasetsart University, was found dead in a paddy field on April 3. Friends and family are calling for severe punishment for the suspect, hoping for the death penalty and widespread attention to ensure justice. Focus's mother, Jiranan, expressed grave concerns over potential bail for Frank and the possibility of subsequent harm. Despite approaching Hankha Police Station for assurance, she revealed that they have received neither apology nor assistance from the accused's family. Jiranan emphasized, "We have not received any compensation, and money cannot replace our loss. We desire the death penalty." Her father, Payao, vehemently defended Focus's innocence against allegations by the suspect, voicing worry about confronting influential individuals. He appealed to the media for support, highlighting that Frank's foster father, with significant local influence, has been notably absent since the incident. "The foster father should have been involved from the start to show accountability," Payao insisted. The family remains steadfast in their fight for justice, urging those involved to act with integrity and a clear conscience. This heartbreaking case has drawn attention to issues of power and justice in the region, prompting calls for a thorough and transparent judicial process to address the family's plight, reported The Thaiger. -- 2025-04-10 -

My situation can I beat the system of a marriage visa
I have question that maybe some of you have had to go through with a Thai spouse. 1. I live only about 5 hours from DMK in another Asian country 2. Would it be best just to have the marriage registered in Thailand and the country I am in. 3. Can I just go back and stay for 3 months in Thailand and then return to the country I reside in? 4. Of course, I'll seek legal advice so any of you know an attorney in Bangkok about my situation. as always, thanks -

Trump Accused of 'Market Manipulation' in Tariff Reversal Shocker!
You'll to have to do better than that. Which friends, which shares? How much, when did they sell and when did they buy back? You're also assuming it was his plan all along when the media is casting it all as a panic, knee jerk response.
