DJ54
Had to look up Forza looks like a good bike. Up here near Udon Thani have yamaha, Honda dirt bikes a bit pricey. Have seen a couple places sell a Chinese brand but would be concerned quality for long term use. Take a look at GPX see attached. I’d have the Legend street bike for 2-1/2 years. Only problem was speedometer and front fork leak which were bth replaced at NC.

Have only bought new here before so would welcome any advise I am sorry I know very little about motor bikes, but If you view something that you are not happy with give it a miss and have a look around, also if you have limited knowledge bring a friend and compare the findings. On that webpage I sent you lots of foreigners selling bikes, but do not think its only the Thais that tell porkies. Due to the crazy driving over here I like the 4 wheel mode of transport. May I be number 3 to concur with this advice. Not to say you can't pick up a good second hand bike for a decent price in Thailand but as previous posters state :- New prices are low Second-hand prices are high Maintenance is often ignored Consumer protection is very weak and if buying person-to-person is non-existent. If you insist on buying second-hand, you either have to have a sound mechanical knowledge of motorbikes in general and the model you are after and/or personally know the person you are buying it off (preferably a trustworthy foreigner). New prices are low ? 170,000 baht 18 months to 2 years old, full service history, 95 -120,000 so a saving of 50-70,000, ? i would love to buy new, but also need to save where possible lots of the bigger bikes seem to have less usage, with better maintenance than the little waves and scoobies which are thrashed to within 1 inch of their lives every day But thanks for the replies, always welcome
