Hello All.

 

My wife and I shall be going to Ayutthaya for a day / night trip during next week. I have checked tripadvisor for restaurants but looking for more local favorites especially overlooking the river.

In addition, I am looking for a hotel on the river for 1 night (really on the river but do not need a snorkel). I noted the Krungsri hotel seems popular but any ideas?

We are not looking for tourististy places at all and prefer more local. An old style Thai teak place hotel/homestay would be ideal.

 

We have our own transport.

Krungsiri is fine, riverside Bar/Dine nice at night.Parking easy and, if you want Pattays lo life, its nearby.?[emoji481]

    Krungsri is good, riverside location.
    Or check out Baan Luang Harn , a resort, it’s not really near the river as such but walking distance to Wat Ratchaburana and Wat Mahathat and they rent bicycles. A bit more homely and cheaper.
