A ten year old boy who was missing after going swimming with friends near the Pranburi dam on Saturday has been found drowned.

Natthapong Noi-phasee was from Khao Noi sub-district and attended Thetsaban Pranburi (Ban Plai Nam) School.

Rescue workers found the boy's body by the base of a tree some 2 kilometers from where he went missing late Saturday morning.

I'm assuming the base of the tree was on dry land.

How did he get out of the water after drowning ?

Sad and RIP.  The lack of parental  guidance and care on safety is incredible and cost another poor things life

Not really out of the water.

Drifted away to some partially flooded trees.
