garyk
This is directed to folks that are married to a Thai woman and travel outside of Thailand for extended periods. I want to travel and bring my wife from Thailand with me. Problem is I want to stay for long periods of time in Mexico and South America. As an American citizen I have a very liberal time frame in most south of the border countries. 180-90 days usually. But, the Thai citizen has very limited time on a tourist visa in some of the countries I want to visit. If she is my wife is it possible to get her the same amount of time as me in the countries? Or does she have to adhere to the rules of a Thai citizen. So, if married does it help in any way?
theoldgit
She will have to conform to the rules as a Thai Citizen, the fact that you have a different nationality is irrelavent to her immigration status.
