Drivers licensed expired.

Expired 5 months ago. What will be required to renew?

Same as if it had expired yesterday.

You get upto a year..after that you have to do the whole kaboodle again , unless you have a home licence covering the class of vehicle you want to drive  car/motorbike to "convert"

then  just the "normal"  eyesight and reaction tests,medical certificate...maybe watch the video...but no theory or practical tests are required.

First you need to get a "certificate of residence"  from your local immigration..or use a work permit or yellow book if you have one.

Then go get a medical certificate from  your local clinic..tell them its for a drivers licences they will know what to do.

Then off to your local Department of Land Transportation  (DLT)  armed with  your passport,drivers licence,residence and medical certificate copies of passport photo page and visa page.

 

show them your Ozzie licence..you'll have to do some rudimentary tests like eyesight (colour blindness)

and reaction tests  foot on brake and accelerator..then maybe watch a video..then  pay the fee and have digital photo taken  "voila"  Thai licence.
