Rayong: Engineer dad has great idea to make his little boy's robot dream come true!

A little boy in Rayong wanted to be just like the robots he saw on YouTube - the costumes looked amazing.

So his dad went to work. Not spending money on an expensive suit but using old materials that were worth next to nothing - like cardboard boxes.

Dad Sumeth Khiawreuang - originally from Phitsanuloke but now working as an engineer in Pluak Daeng, Rayong - used 20 boxes and two hours after work every day to make his four year old's dream become a reality.

He was thus transformed into a RX-78-2 Gundam just like in the video games.

Daily News said the ingenuity and imagination shown by this smart dad was amazing.

Amazing effort. Pity its made of cardboard as it probably won't last long considering all the work involved.

Problem is, the boy may get hooked on video games even more, and at the age of 10 he will still be unable to name one country neighboring Thailand...

The hinged joints are very well done, good job Dad!

Fannnnntastic !!

Congratulations Khun Sumeth ! :clap2:
