Carnet Du Passage

Featured Replies

I'm planning a long motorcycle trip, Bangkok to UK and back. To make life easier I need to get this 'Carnet Du Passage' document. Thailand is not party to the agreement so I can"t get it here.

Does any one know how to get a 'CDP' (Carnet Du Pasage) for a Thai registered vehicle.

I used one when I shipped my Dyna from Canada to Australia and back.

Painless.

If unable to source a Thai one - with them not being a signatory this would not surprise me.

You may have  seen this already Murf. If not .....

"AIT/FIA currently does not have any official CPD-issuing organization in the country.

CPDs for vehicles registered in the country can be issued in any other country where AIT/FIA has a CPD-issuing automobile association or authorized distributor.

Check the neighboring countries to yours and enquire the corresponding AIT/FIA organizations about obtaining a CPD there."
