My experience with roaming is that it's pretty costly.

 

A Chinese based  expat forum may be able to give you tips on an easy and reasonable way to buy a sim in China.

No...you needed to click through the link. There is an allowance included with the SIM. 4 GB with the 399 baht SIM and you can supplement that if necessary..

The question is to do with compatibility.
