China prepaid sim cards

Featured Replies

I will be traveling to Beijing next month. Can I buy prepaid Chinese sim cards in Thailand?

You can buy a Roaming SIM that gives you a data allowance in China; http://www.ais.co.th/roaming/sim2fly/en/

Make that your mobile in compatible with the Chinese networks in question.

My experience with roaming is that it's pretty costly.

A Chinese based  expat forum may be able to give you tips on an easy and reasonable way to buy a sim in China.

No...you needed to click through the link. There is an allowance included with the SIM. 4 GB with the 399 baht SIM and you can supplement that if necessary..

The question is to do with compatibility.
