Please arrest me officer - I want to see what life is like in prison

 

 

Sanook reported that a 44 year old Thai man is fed up living in Thai society. 

 

So much so he wanted to find out what life was like in prison and possibly see if it was any better in there.

 

So on his way from Korat to Chacherngsao on a tour bus Sunthorn took a Ya Ba tablet he said he found in the toilets.

 

Another tablet he put into the pocket of his trousers. 

 

After arriving in the Thai city east of Bangkok he got on a "song thaew" (baht bus) and turned himself into Ban Pho police. 

 

"I have taken a Ya Ba and got another one on me," he announced. "Please arrest me".

 

The cops found a tablet in a plastic bag in his trousers then he tested positive with a purple result at the hospital. 

 

He was then charged with taking and possessing Class 1 drugs and got his wish. 

 

Sunthorn said he was fed up with Thai society and wanted to sample life on the inside to see what it was like.

 

It was not reported yet how long he will stay inside.

This guy clearly needs help. The police should not have jailed him but referred him to a psychiatric hospital.

I agree he is just sick. He needs help. 

If you see how many pensioners in Oz and the Uk go to jail over Xmas you will understand what's going on in this mans head!!
