Thai woman arrested for procuring girl, 13, for elderly Japanese man

A Thai woman was arrested early on Wednesday for allegedly soliciting a 13-year-old girl to sell sex to a 71-year-old Japanese man in Pattaya.

 

Police arrested Ployphan Muangdit, 20, at a restaurant on Soi Yai Lia 31 in Tambon Nong Plue of Chon Buri's Bang Lamung district at 12.20am.

 

The arrest came after Hiroyuki Nakashima was arrested at a condominium on Jomtien Beach for allegedly buying sex from a 13-year-old girl on Monday.

 

Police raided the condo room after receiving tips that the elderly man liked to buy sex services from underage girls. Police found sex toys and a camera hidden in the ceiling for taping the sex act.

 

The Japanese man implicated Ployphan as the one who supplied the girl.

The question that should be asked is what does the Japanese government intend to do? We all know what would happen to this man if he was a US/Canadian/EU/Australian/New Zealand national: He would be prosecuted upon the return to his country and face a  serious penalty if guilty.

Japan's lawmakers still deny that its nationals are active clients of foreign "fuzoku" .

You can find it disgusting, age of consent 13, but it is their law and what you think about it is not interesting to them, rightflly.

Besides, local communities in Japan have raised the age of consent a lot higher.

   No, that isnt Japanese law , the age of consent isnt 13 .

Basically the Japanese law states that any sexual activity between 13 -18 year old is legal in a natural relationship .

   They also have child protection laws : Any adult that has sexual activity with anyone under the age of 18 , will be prosecuted under the child protection act

Did you actually read the referenced statement ?  It states the age of consent is 13 !!  Below that the offender can be prosecuted for statuary rape. And in the real world, Thailand included, having sex with a 13 year is considered depraved. I hope the Thai legal system throws this Japanese pedophile into a cell and lose the key, because as I said, he would return to Japan without blemish under their system.

You really do have problems reading don't you ? No where did I say "adults having sex with children in Japan is legal"   Please read carefully.
