Tailor Shop posts

Featured Replies

I've know this has been done to death on TV, but having problems locating recent subjects here regarding high quality, reputable tailor shops in Bangkok.   Can someone throw some related links my way or provide some guidance on how to find them here??

I've been doing some research, and found some tailors pop up on reviews like CNN article  https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/bangkok-best-tailors/index.html and I see some names sort of coming up consistently.    I've also looked at Tripadvisor, but based on Fakespot, the almost all the tailor shop reviews on TA are bogus.

So I'd really like to find someone who has already put in the research, as opposed to strict opinions like "i've had good experience at so and so".    I know the first quality shops will be expensive, but figure it's lower than Mens Wearhouse in the US.   Guessing in the 10,000 to 25,000 range for an excellent high quality suit?

trying to avoid the guys who take the measurements, and send to some sweatshop to throw it together.   Best would be a small operation where the owner is the tailor, and they carry high quality imported fabrics or they tell you how much fabric is required and refer you to some reputable high quality fabric shop.

Guess this is only going to come from someone's personal experience, because it's difficult to impossible to find that kind of guy online.

I use Crown Tailor on Soi 8, and also Pinky's in Mahatun plaza. Both have made me great suits. Other people swear by Raja's under Soi Nana bts.
