Once again the Tourism and Sports Ministry opens their mouths and out comes hogwash. They expect us to believe that the Moto GP race in Buriram netted 3.1 billion baht., created 7749 jobs and attracted 250,000 people. Yeah right., when Pigs fly my friends. Anyone watching at home who isn't half blind saw that outside of the main grandstand the others were only two thirds full. They obviously didn't bother to talk to the thousands who were caught in the horrific traffic jams, were ripped off by Thai vendors and Hoteliers. But of course this being Thailand it's all about face and putting a good spin on negative facts. Good luck there Newin on keeping a World Class Moto GP in Buriram after this farce.
