To be fair if they are overweight and unemployed I would turn off their electric from the grid and hook them up to an energy generating treadmill to at least contribute their own energy to "net zero" as well as losing some weight. If only BlackRock made energy producing treadmills then we could have seen this (in my humble opinion) quite ingenious policy, but they are more likely to have their fat fingers in Big Pharma.
It varies, but personally if a landlord were making me pay extra to clean the aircon I would feel entitled to take it with me at the end of the tenancy.
