Before parting with hard cash it's easy to do some investigation work via the internet to get verification of these so called jobs or overseas positions.... never take anything at face value!

Da*# Canadians !

Don't you know you're supposed to apologize (before, during and after) doing anything ? Eh ?

And then apologize for apologizing too much eh !

Hosers ! Damaging Canada's reputation ! Trudeau will probably make him the new Minister of Foreign Affairs after this (eh) !

Scammed folks should have first taken a short course in COMMON SENSE. A "Canadian" setting up USA paid internships should have been their first hint of "duhhhh here's my money". If conman spoke with a French accent, that also should have alerted the idiots donating money to his good life.

To all Thai students (coming from a farang) - please, please check fully on the internet about such claims and NEVER part with money until properly verified documentation is presented.

I would not like to be this gentleman if the accusations are found to be true. It is quite possible that he will receive a sentence for each instance of theft, to run consecutively.

That could amount to quite a substantial amount of time.

Might be interesting if they poke around a bit, clarify the story and a few facts.  Apparently the "Thai Business Manager" has some involvement.  Not that a majority Thai business partner would ever cause grief.... ????

Paid internships in the US. Ridiculous, everyone in North America knows that internships and non paid positions. Companies get young people to work for free to gain experience. One of Canada's/America's scams.

With so many Thais that scam people I have very little sympathy for them when they get scammed.

Two wrongs don't make a right - at least the way I've been raised.

A good lesson to the victims (and a few others:whistling:)....a white skinned person can be a cheat and a thief... a black skinned (potential x-ray outlaw foreigner candidate), can turn out to be honest...

That’s not Harris Black, is it? (for posters with good memories)

Does look quite like him. Same MO too. Had heard that he's still around Pattaya and up to his old tricks.

How dumb these university kids are. Most likely they dont know anything on the internet other than Facebook, Snapchat. There is one for you future professional kids, LinkedIn.
