Forensic Police are investigating following the death of a one and a half year old girl after she fell into a grease trap at a school in Krabi while playing with her 7 year old sister.

18 month girl Jirana Wunchinchai fell into the grease trap at a school in Krabi while her mother was cleaning a canteen preparing for the school to open. The girl’s body has now been taken back to her hometown in Songkhla.

Probably not strictly necessary to have a picture of the grieving mother and her dead daughter splashed across Facebook and TVF, is it?

Yes it is necessary to show pictures like this, as long as people are as stupid as leaving grease traps open and left unattended at a place that is usually filled with children.

What a terrible way to go,poor little girl, where the tops left off,

you would think in a school they would be fastened down,as

just tempting fate.

Tragic accident, RIP little one.

I agree please remove the image!!

grease trap? Unhealthy fried food? Is it even necessary for a school? Why mot feed their minds with healthy foods. cuckoo cuckoo....

A safety measure (covering the grease pit) is separate from your remark re: healthy attitudes. Surely you can differentiate the difference. If not, I'm here to help ????

Troll? Surely your lack of intelligence would lend to that remark. That's ok. You've lost any semblance of appropriate response:)

Anyway....as you were saying before, the "fried" comment that you you referred to....did you lose your place re: the premise of the article- meaning a young child sadly fell into the pit, yet you insisted on remarking about fried foods. You Sir are an <deleted>.

I sincerely believe SAFETY is not in the vocabulary of 90% of Thais.

I wonder if you realize how the internet works?

The image is "already out there".

Shame on the unconcerned person who should have minded that grease trap.

No words... just another avoidable accident. Un-be-lieve-able !!!! this Thai care-less-ness !!!
