The stuff he was sentenced for today pre-dates the Thailand stuff I believe. From what I understand from reading it he did this offending in Australia and then went on the run in Thailand after it came to light. Got caught doing similar in Thailand and banged up in jail there then had to face the music in Aussie after he got deported

With some luck this rock Spider won't last in Jail, they have ways to Look after the Rock spiders no matter where or what jail they will take care of this maggot.

Most countries have mandated maximum sentences.... 19 years,  may be seen as justice served, by the rule of law.

 

in cases like this, having max / min sentencing  levels, needs reviewing.... urgently.... perhaps including chemical castration, as it’s a repeat offender .... holy bat crap... repeative baby rape... maybe a frontal lobotomy might be the go.

 

unfortunately, this guy will serve his sentence in protective custody, in a secure wing with other rock spiders, lest the state be sued for negligence, as ( like it or not) the state is responsible for his security.

 

justice here would be a a vigilante castration, with a blunt rusty knife, post his release, because “civilized” sentencing just doesn’t “cut” it

Maybe, as in many, many other, similar cases, his mother (or father) are the real reason he turned out this way? Child abuse has as many forms and varieties as it does outcomes and eventualities, unfortunately.

He gets 15-19 years in a Queensland Prison, when compared to TL is a luxury with TV, gyms, internet, clean sheets etc. This scumbag needs to do some good in the world by donating all his organs but send his brain to the incinerator.

Life without parole would be the most just. Let bubba take care of him in jail.

Sometimes, I think defence lawyer's ideas should also be questioned.

For what he has pleaded guilty to, there should be nothing other than the absolute maximum sentence given.

To request a reduction, for whatever reason, is beyond belief.

First offence? Good character references? Promises to behave in future?  Raping children?  !!!!!!!!

This happened in New Zealand many years ago, the offender was given PD, which means preventative Detention, for those that do not know, PD was 25 years with no parol, and an added note by the judge, this man should never be released back into the public again. Same should happen with this low life scum.

Presumably no death sentence as an option.

Preventative detention has changed now to potentially an open-ended jail term. Basically puts the onus on the offender to prove to the parole board that they are no longer a risk to society before they are any chance of getting parole. Used for the worst sex and violence offenders.
