Does anyone know where I can buy a goat in the Isaan area please?

      Try your local Muslim community. They usually have them. Many Thais won't eat goat, they reckon the meat smells (same with lamb).

I don't know about eating them (the Mrs. got over the "strong smell", and now likes it well enough), but my next door neighbor got a small herd in the making, a couple of others around too. They are all Buddhist.
