Second hanging from same Chon Buri tree fuels rumours of haunting

By The Nation

A second hanging from the same tree in Chon Buri has sparked rumours that the Jambolan plum might be haunted.

A Cambodian migrant worker was found on Wednesday morning hanged from the same branch of the tree in Si Racha district that one of his compatriots used to commit suicide in 2017.

Nong Kham police called to the wooded scene in Tambon Nong Kham at 8am found Wut Won, 36, dead by hanging.

A doctor estimated he’d been dead for about 24 hours. There were no signs of a struggle. The body was sent to Laem Chabang Hospital for an autopsy.

Residents said Cambodian workers often played takraw in the adjacent field, and recalled another Cambodian worker hanging himself from the same branch last year.

sounds very familiar to the haunted farang balconies.

Or, copycats, or murder may be more likely?

and the next tourist attraction is ??

I guess the Si Racha district will be a priority destination for the next road trip to lure voters as these people seem to believe everything...

Sounds like it was a job for "special branch" .....????

Reported!!..........oh

It's called a Cambodian tree (arborus illegalmigrantis cambodiana) and grows fragrant Cambodians at the end of the rainy season.

If the trees are haunted because of two suicide, that means  every roads in Thailand are haunted too

They say Koh Tao suffers from this.

Maybe some "lucky lottery" numbers can be found on the tree bark ???

Thais are living in the stone age, I feel superior as a farang because the locals are so xxxxxxxx.
