Wing 41

Featured Replies

the office to get your pass for the Wing 41 road from Suthep Rd to the Airport opens in a couple of days..I have a bike and car and wish to get permission to use the road....one small problem is that i moved condo about 6 months ago and havent updated my address in the green/blue books..i recently had to renew my drivers licenses and they list my new address which is in conflict with the owners books...will i have a problem?

not likely, I do not recall driver's license being required

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only documentation needed for the pass is a copy of your passport and the current page in the vehicle registration book.

And the application form.

Ah, how long does the sign-up last?

And you can get multiple stickers for all your vehicles?

You have at least 2 months to apply.
One application for each vehicle - we do 2 cars.
Copy of passport and double-side copy of ownership and current tax paid from green/blue vehicle book.

Anybody know if they are they mailing them or if pick up an option?  I used to pick it up then they switched to mail but it has been a few years.

I no longer have a Chiang Mai address but take my bike there on the train fairly often.

Always had to collect mine, did not know there was a mail option. Judging by the queues each year most people don't.

Bit like 90 day reports! ????

Last time I applied, which was at least 6 years ago, they required a stamp with the application and they mailed the sticker.  Or maybe it was optional, not sure.....

No mail.
