Ok I have few free nights in holiday inn hotel chain so doing 8 of them in Hua Hin. best places to visit while there 23/12 to 30/12?

The train station? Not much else happening except for the beach, pool and maybe some drinks. R&R all the way mate.

5 years ago Black Mountain water park was worth going too. If the taxi drivers don’t know it, it’s close to Black Mountain golf course. One particular slide required some pretty hardy swimming trunks ????

Hua Hin is, perhaps, the most boring place in Thailand.

I went to Hua Hin for the weekend. Think it was 2 days to many.

I went twice to Hua Hin and didn't really like it - the only saving grace was the Subway sandwich shop which was good....then they shut it :(

I'd be eating and drinking on the pier, it's really nice there.

 

Jesus some happy soles here lol. Ferry to Pattaya has to be the best lol I don't particulalry want to spend a lot of time with Ignorant chineese or pissed Russians. Happy to visit some nice temples, decent thai food, beach and quiet drink.

Many prefer the low season over the high season, and even the weekdays over the weekend...the place could use a university for the skirts and cheap Thai food, but overall very decent place.  I don't think the backpackers have been overly welcome there, but there are lots of guesthouses....
