cms22 You need to be re-tested after several months. You might care enough to take the lovely wife along to be tested as well  and make sure you haven't passed on HIV or any other nasty latent surprises. ....Its your wife man....so you cheated on her and had unprotected sex with a bar girl.......think you should come clean?.......or you just gonna keep bonking her ,hope for the best and say nothing?

This is the OP. If I were you I would have an HIV test. The results are accurate and available through blood testing from 21 days after exposure. This is according to the doctor at Pulse Clinic, who is a specialist in HIV. I know the risk is low. But it is a risk where the consequences are dire, especially if you have a family that relies on you like me. Thanks. C

How much are pulse clinic paying you for the repeated mentions and endorsements?

I do hate to bust your bubble.

First, you should have gone to the hospital the next day and received a 'preventative' course of anti-viral medication.  It may be too late, but check with your doctor.
Second, HIV takes up to a year to show up on a HIV test.  I suggest you read up on the near-term acute symptoms of HIV as well as the life-cycle of the infection.
Third, find your bar-girl friend.  Ask her if she is HIV-positive.  Or pay her for her time to accompany you to a clinic to get tested.
Fourth, learn something from this.  No matter how drunk you get, don't go swimming without a wet suit.

I hope you are aware of the fact that when you took the test after only ‘several sleepness nights’ since the act, you are well advised to have your blood re-tested later on? It can take up to three months before HIV shows up in your blood.

Sweet dreams.

The fact is, HIV isn't as prevalent as the fear-mongers would have us believe and chances of catching it are slim even with someone who is infected. Magic Johnson's wife never got the virus and he must have banged her 100's of times after he became HIV+.

For those who might not know, PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis), which must be started within 72 hours after a possible exposure to HIV, is an effective prevention for those who realise they made an error in judgment or a condom breaks. PEP must be started no later than 72 hours after a possible exposure to HIV, but the sooner you start, the better. It is taken daily for 28 days and is effective in preventing HIV when administered correctly. It's available in Thailand.

Similarly, for those who have regular unprotected sex, PrEP is worth considering. It is a way for people who are at substantial risk of getting HIV to prevent HIV infection by taking a pill every day.

HIV/AIDS is no longer the death sentence it once was.

Daily medication and maintaining your health to a higher than normal standard while inconvenient can lead to an otherwise full life with no shortening of life expectancy. Your viral load can be lowered to an almost undetectable number.

I agree it’s not desirable and is not conducive to a lasting and happy marriage but it isn’t the ebd if the world

Its not the end of the World , although it would be a game changer for myself .

Either : Suffering a slow lingering death in Thailand or

Spending 15 /30 000 Baht a month on medication or , going back home and getting medication for free .

OR , I could avoid catching it in the first place.................which seems the better option out of the four choices

This is quite correct, so hold off the celebrations, and good luck.

Magic Johnsons isnt really a good example to mention , when stating that HIV is hard to contract , because he himself caught HIV from a Woman

There are many easier diseases to catch than HIV.

I've banged about 50 bargirls with no condom, over the past 10 years, and caught nothing (as far as I can tell).

Likewise.

looking at the pulse doctor profiles none of them did a fellowship in infectious diseases, done after completing a residency in internal medicine.

in order to be a specialist in hiv, means 3 years int medicine followed by 2-3 year fellowship in infectious diseases and some even do further fellowship in hiv

Not everyone is daft enough to imagine they caught HIV from a single encounter with a woman who probably wasn't infected.

Really, would you be willing to bet your life on that? Because not having safe sex with a prostitute is exactly what you`d be doing, playing a form of Russian roulette with your life and taking the chance of dying a horrible death from a horrible disease.

I would like to ask the OP, did he have sex with his wife after his encounter with the prostitute and before he was tested? Also I`ve read several reports that if requires a waiting period of 6 months before it can be confirmed a person is clear of the HIV virus.

I fully understand that having sex with women with a condom spoils the experience, it`s like taking a bath with your socks on, but nevertheless I would never take the risk of going in unarmed, especially if I were in a relationship or married.

Nice advert for Pulse Clinic. What hours are they open? 24/7?

Sorry, but clinic name, location, cost, how long it took to get results etc are irrelevant to the narrative.

a 10% discount for tv forum recruits would be in order

So. By 'banging' 49 bargirls without a condom, and as you appear to believe, 'as far as you can tell', that you think you're not infected - how do you know that girl No.1 didn't infect you, and by your recklessness, may have infected 49 other girls?

How worthless, arrogant and inconsiderate can you be?

Because I've had 3 HIV tests since then (and tested 2 girls I moved in with, and a girl I impregnated, also negative).

That is being quite irresponsible and selfish, you could be infecting the girls or getting them pregnant and your only concern is yourself ejaculating without a condom .

Extremely selfish and you can have no complaints if one of the girls gives you a STD

Quite easy to say when you get screwed by a horny lady while you're half-asleep in the morning. Who is selfish then?
