What’s the best place for a farang to be homeless in Thailand?

If you were going to be homeless in Thailand, but you had the choice to choose where, where would you choose? Would a tourist city be better or a less touristy place like isaan, or north Thailand or south, or an island ? What would you choose

I know there is no nice place to be homeless but I think certain areas are better than others for this kind of situation. Just a interesting topic.

Homeless in the North Thailand and you may freeze to die in "cold season".

There are tens of people who die every year in Thailand because of the low temperature.

I remember more than 60 cold death in the North 4 or 5 years ago...

I know I’ll eventually get thrown in jail, not sure how long I’ll make it, Steve was homeless for 3 years, not sure about 5 star Tony, Sylvester was homeless there for years too. Maybe it’s more strict these days I guess

OP, you need to sort your life out, otherwise you are going to be in a very bad place in a few months and it will be even harder to recover (if at all your posts have any truth in them).

Looking back at your previous threads,

Putting yourself up to be scammed by a Thai girl you never met,

Thinking about pimping yourself out as a gay prostitute for a work permit,

Making yourself homeless in Thailand as you simple prefer it here to the UK.

Go back to the UK and get mental health assessment and help.  This is the only answer if you down want to end up in a complete mess.  Its going to be a lot worse for you to stay here no matter what you think of the UK.

The uk docs will just shove pharma drugs down my throat. I don’t want to live with my parents anymore at my age.

The whole gay for pay escort thing is just me panicking about money and stuff, I don’t want to do that. Probably can’t anyway.

i want to work and stuff, not sit on my butt all day, volunteer work, help out. I’m not a alcoholic, I don’t smoke, I just want to work and stay in Thailand.

Volunteer on farang farm for months get bed and meals for 4 hours work a day...google it....SLEEPING on Beach in Pattaya will get you deported. Food and  Org. that will help you in Bangkok..But be Careful,  Good luck

But I need to get a work permit to do volunteer work in Thailand, if they ask for proof of funds then I won’t get it.

What is food and org. ?

yes I’ll eventually get arrested if I overstay my visa, if I can’t pay the overstay fee then they’ll keep me locked up at IDC until I can find someone to pay it for me. I’m guessing they cannot arrest you for being homeless, only if you overstay your visa ?

Guess again? Worst case they tell you that you didn't update them about your current address. If Thai authorities want a reason they will find one - you should know that if you spent some time in the LOS.

I’ve never had a problem with the Thai authorities so don’t know how they behave. I’ve read a book from a guy who was homeless in Pattaya and I’ve read articles on the internet, They were homeless for years, 3 years etc ..they were well known by the locals who helped them, sometimes the monks would help or a kind farang. Yes they would get jn trouble in the police from time to time and friends would have to pay for the homeless guy to be released.

But these guys were alcoholics, smokers etc..

Not sure if this is a troll topic but........you'll end up in prison and then deported. This means you wont be allowed back in to Thailand and if you love Thailand that much then seriously think whether you want to be barred for an extended period of time.

You would do better if you were homeless in your home country. So get back to your home country as soon as possible and get some support.

If you are a genuine person, then you never need to worry about food and a safe place to sleep.

Listen, I used to be 'rich', but lost it all due to my own free-spending and bad luck.  My life was forever stressed out over wives, ex-wives, bills etc etc.  I was fat and unhealthy.

Several years ago I decided on a life change.  I completed my responsibilities with the ex-wives and got rid of many consumer goods.  I stopped worrying and thinking about myself and started thinking about others and what I could do to help them.  I started a charity which supports Burmese kids with free schoolbooks and other learning materials.  My stress and worries disappeared!  I started to eat healthy food and exercise.

I've just returned after several years in Burma.  I manage to rent a small house in the Burmese community in Ranong for 5,000 baht a month.  I do have an income from outside Thailand, but use most of that income to buy the school books etc.

I never worry about whether I will have enough money or somewhere to live in my old age - I believe in karma and that my good deeds will be rewarded in the future.  Oh, I'm absolutely not religious.

OP - stop worrying, stop thinking 'me, me, me'.  Start thinking what you can do to help others  - and be happy!!

PS - Yes you can live and work at a temple, with free food and a safe place to sleep.  If you are a genuine, honest person, you do not need to be Buddhist.

I do have an idea in my head about doing some work and helping Thailand and Thai people, not sure I should say what it is in case someone copies it, but I honestly do have a plan, but whether it will work or not is the issues,

i have some money but not much. The homeless idea is to help reduce my amount of spending so I can afford visa extensions, food, water etc .. visa runs.

I have some friends in Bangkok that can give me a place to stay from time to time.

Im curious about the temple and staying there.

If you want to know my idea maybe we can private PM

Most places I've ever visited in T/L have small apartments for rent from 1500 to 2000 bt per month (probably +500 for utils)... Basic but at least it's not homeless.

Many temples could provide shelter, and perhaps those with a school attached, would allow you to teach for a small income.... all totally off the radar of course.

Get away from the tourist cities though.

In the past you have posted about all the diseases you have

had or just think you have, now your going on about been homeless !

You better get back quick to the NHS and SS,and pull yourself together.

regards worgeordie

I don’t have a disease, I have non bacterial prostatitis, my pelvic muscle are all messed up and tight which effects the nerves in that region.

i have tinnitus (ringing in the ears)

and poor posture

nhs can’t do much, I tried the doctor route and they just prescribe drugs and shit, they don’t care much.

Most guys are left to try and fix it on their own with stretches and diet and physical therapy and chiropractors, pelvic floor therapist, osteopaths etc .. all expensive and I can’t afford it and I have mentally given up to be honest.

Yes I did get an stomach bacteria infection and parasite infection that’s in the past and taken care of.
