What’s the best place for a farang to be homeless in Thailand?

Most places I've ever visited in T/L have small apartments for rent from 1500 to 2000 bt per month (probably +500 for utils)... Basic but at least it's not homeless.

Many temples could provide shelter, and perhaps those with a school attached, would allow you to teach for a small income.... all totally off the radar of course.

Get away from the tourist cities though.

Any suggestions on where these temples are located?

Almost everywhere in Thailand..

But not in the tourist cites, I guess north Thailand has a lot of temples. Maybe these temple monks don’t speak English if they are off the radar

It seems you have lots of excuses.

Open your eyes and you will see temples everywhere including tourist locations.

If you are serious then go there and talk to the monks. I guess in tourist locations you have a higher chance that they speak English.

If you want you can visit a couple of temples today and tomorrow. Then you have your answer. And more important you have an authorative answer from monks in a temple and not from farangs in front of their computer.

If you want to do it then do it and don't find excuses!

In one way I really hope that this is a troll post because if it isn't, man you are in some hell of a bad place right now, I thought I had problems but by Christ you take the biscuit sir, It makes my problems look like a case of hiccups, I don't know how old you are or anything else about you but I sure as hell wish you well, and all the luck in the world in sorting your life out.

it’s not a troll post, I’m a young male in my late twenties, I have a dull lifestyle back home, no career, living with the parents, no sex. I came to Thailand alone in 2015 and fell in love or got addicted, the heat, the girls, the sex, food and the laid back culture. I have been to Thailand 6 times since then.

Due to my pelvic issues, tinnitus and everything else, I  had enough of life, quit my job, went to Thailand, to have fun And end my life but I felt happy, didn’t want to die , I lost my wallet, came back to England, got a new bank card. Still had some money. Came back to Thailand. I want to help, do some work and stuff. Not have a holiday, I want to work.

You can check my previous posts this is all true. People think I’m trolling because so many bad things have happened to me it seems unbelievable but I’ve never made up a story.

I did check your previous posts just after I posted my reply, you seem to have been handed the s-h-itty end of life's stick my friend and I have some sympathy for you to say the least, your troubles make my problems minuscule in comparison, however as others have suggested maybe you can help out at a temple somewhere, I truly wish you all the best for your future, late twenties is far to early to be thinking about checking out of here, I know the UK is crap, that's why I'm here and I've had some really bad times in my life previously, most people on here have, but we battle through because believe it or not there is light at the end of the tunnel.

If I were you I would go home while you still can, use the NHS to it's fullest extent, get a job, and make a life for yourself and come back to LoS when you can afford to, if you love it so much here you don't want to be blacklisted for 10 years or more or spend an eternity in IDC Go home young man, please.

More than anything you want to be loved and taken care of. BUT you can only be loved if you learn to take care of yourself. Taking care of yourself means being able to control your mind and push through the laziness of self-obsession.

So.......realize that you have innate value and toughen yourself up by learning how to be happy where ever you find yourself.

Most people are conditioned by circumstances and lack the mental strength required to rise above their situation. At the moment you are a leaf blown around by the wind. Nothing you do will result in happiness.

Well there is one thing. Learn how to let some of the ridiculous self-defeating nonsense that is your current thinking subside by itself. Meditate on letting your thinking release itself. Don't grasp at your thoughts or develop some strategies that are obviously dumb and a result of your misaligned thinking.

Go back to the U.K. Learn how to deal with self-defeating thoughts. Change the way you see yourself. Recognise your innate value. Lose your addictions. Become free. Or be a <deleted>.

A few things in your story not match, and when you think about it yourself you also will find it out.

You wrote, that you love the girls and the sex... then you wrote where to live best homeless… and this not match together!

You think when you homeless and no money you still can enjoy the girls and the sex ???

If you really want the best go back home, take a job and come to Thailand 1-2 times per year for holiday if you can afford it. This is the much better way than to stay in your nice country but can not enjoy any of the nice features you dream of anymore.

Yes well like I said I am more focused on working and helping, not thinking about getting sex everyday. It won’t be easy, but it’s just something I’d have to accept, at least I have the heat and Thai food, I’d be away from family, taking care of myself. Those things make me happy too.

NHS is bad at the moment, takes 2 to 4 weeks just to see a GP in my area, then wait months to see specialist.

Job wise, I can only do low skilled jobs, cleaning, or working in a kitchen as Kitchen Porter, they don’t normally pay that much. I don’t want to live with my parents anymore, I want privacy and to take care of myself, if I stay in England I can never move out, apartments are so expensive. Homelessness is actually on the rise and getting worse in the uk.

I think being an airport terminal cleaner is something I would enjoy but I don’t live in London and the transportation costs would be huge. They need people who live closer to London.

You don't want to wait 2 - 4 weeks to see a GP

You don't want a job because its unskilled work.

You don't want a home or roof over you head because you don't like your parents.

You think the only airport in the UK with cleaners in in London.

You sound like you are just making excuses for being lazy.

News Flash....  A huge percentage of the population have jobs they would rather not be doing.  Many people have to put up with living with people they might not like very much, or in a city or town they would rather not live in.  Of course people might rather live in a tropical country and not have to go to work in the cold mornings.... but this is life.  And LOTS of people have much more serious medical problem and disabilities than you, AND they still work and fine partners and make a life for themselves.

You are saying because you life is not perfect or exactly how you want it you will just give up.  You only have one life and you are totally wasting it by being selfish.  If you want a good job, nice home, nice partner and family you have to WORK for it!!!!!!

AS most people are telling you....the answer is to go back to the UK get a job, get some money saved up, work you way up or study part time to improve you prospects.   If you really hate living with you parents just go and get cheap rented room in a shared house, or move in and shave costs with a friend.

Even worse, because you say you not have a lot of skills. So therefore you will have difficulties to become a workpermit.

And without I not see an easy way to stay legal in Thailand for longtime. Better look a job back in UK.

Why not try to find a cheap small room in (near) London airport and hope for a work there. This would be much easier than to find work in Thailand. There are many foreigners who dream the dream of an Job in Thailand and enjoy the nice life.

You are very correct.

Many people want to go to the UK to get a job and better life, work hard and save some money for the future.

OP wants to come to Thailand to be homeless and jobless and have no money for the future and destroy his life.

Crazy!!!

Can you see a pattern in all your posts?

I know people like you. They are usually a drag on their friends and families. Don't know you but you may be the same. Time to man up. But you won't.

About the temples, is it true you can sleep at a temple ?

Yes I once came across a chap from Leicester who was 25ish. He was living on koh lanta and he got round thailand by visiting tem0kes who would put him up and feed him and when the novelty wore off they would buy him a ticket or pay him a touch and send him on his way.

What about that poster that pays 9k a month with free use of motorbike free accommodation and a 6 hour work day for farming

You’ll never understand what it’s like to have non bacterial prostatitis and tinnitus and poor posture, that’s why it’s easy for all of you to say just work, live in a tiny room with your parents, have a crap job, take drugs with bad side effects. You lot just don’t understand because you’ve not experienced it for yourself.

So you say things that don’t matter, some people want to work in England, so ? Why would I care ? Do they have non bacterial prostatitis? Nope didn’t think so

get cheap room near London, ha cheap room in uk near London? What planet are you on ? No such thing, everything’s expensive and homelessness is on the rise in England because of our government.

Just live a dull meaningless existence in the uk working a shit job and never getting laid because Girls here are stuck up spoiled bitches and don’t like me and I live with family so I can’t take them back to my room.

I have nothing to lose and soon i won’t be able to afford a ticket back home so I can’t leave anyway.

Maybe ill I’ll look into becoming a monk, I really think it will do me good mentally.
