Visiting Oz with duel sim mobiles

Have any members used these phones when they go back by putting in an Oz sim card whilst there & leaving their Thai sim in the phone in the other slot ? If so then my question is can I use my Oz sim card to still access my Aps such as Gmail & Facebook by using wifi and not the telecon data ?? or do I need to re-install these Aps on the new Oz sim card ? and also what about using "Line" thanks for any feedback !!

If you are using wifi then you  do not need any sim.

Duelling SIM cards would be a great tune. Anyway, your apps are installed in the phone, the SIMs are only for making calls or 4G connection. My Huawei worked fine with THai & UK cards.

The apps on your phone will use whatever internet is available, either cellular via a sim card or wifi (no need to reinstall or change anything), .

If you don't want to use your Thai SIM, turn it off or at least make sure data roaming is disabled if you have set up International Roaming.

Don't worry about duel SIMs, they won't fight with each other !
