May's deal is dreadful and let's both sides down.  There isn't one remainer that I know who would back it but there does seem to be quite a few leavers who are so desperate to get their Brexit they will accept any crap deal on offer.

You do now: Me. I am a Hold My Nose And Vote Remain type, but 'Leave' did win the day and their wishes should not be simply slung out with the bathwater.

However I feel No Deal would be catastrophic.

Now the No Deal nightmare MAY not come to pass or last only a few years, but in the meantime I have mouths to feed TODAY.

May's deal is at least one the EU will approve. Better to go with that than let Parliament squabble their way to no deal at all, then continue their acrimony in the aftermath. All the while we become poorer and poorer as the Westminster vultures jockey for position to pick at the carcass...

Worse than Corbyn as PM?  looks like we will end up with both, and I did not vote leave nor will I be voting Labour at the up coming General Election...

Cause and effect, buddy. Cause and effect. All the Tories need do is convince the electorate that they are more viable than Labour and your hated unelectable Corbyn. If they can't even manage that, whose fault is it...?

The whining and cowering by the Government Ministers and Opposition MP's are reminiscent of the British parliament in 1940. Many in the Government wanted to seek peace at any cost. Only Winston and a few others had the doggedness to fight on.

Where is the British Bulldog. Have you become a cowering poodle.

Take the deal. make the best of it.

As in 1940 this is another Darkest hour push on till dawn.

The past resurrected as farce.

In or Out. Whereas her neither In nor Out satisfies no one but a few fat cat Tories who think they can use it to con the masses and keep their miserable party in power longer.

Gyimah is a good guy. He rightly points out the EU attitude and what's likely if May's deal is accepted. The UK will become the EU's whipping boy and be paying heavily for the privilege.

Parliament, the majority Tory government, copped out of their responsibilities as a representative democracy government as fly boy Cameron tried to play a clever trick with the referendum and came unstuck. Now they refuse to put the issue before the public, either with a second referendum or general election. Hypocrisy and self interest become anything and screw the future.

Labor is not much better. Split on it and with clown Corbyn prattling on about what a better deal he could get - without saying what that would be or how he'd get it. The Liberals have all but disappeared and the fringe parties, like the SNP just want to exploit it for their own agenda, again regardless of future consequences.

The current crop of politicians are the biggest crock of crap the country has ever had to suffer. And not one glimmer of hope of someone better emerging.

I don't particularly want to comment on your points of arguement.

But the referendem vote was to leave the EU.

You can see what the EU means with the anarchy that is happening in France.

Italy, France, Greece to name a few of the EU countries that are in massive debt and

any attemps by the legitimate voted government to restore their countries to not having debt are met by anarchy and mayhem.

So I say, the British people voted to leave the EU. That should have restored Britain to the position it was in prior to them entering.

Not let Germany dictate and control Britain and Europe. Not let the wealth of Britain prop up failed states with massive debt.

And that is not even mentioning security and border controls.

Countries are countries for good reason.

And hopefully a General Election so that the Tories can be kicked out completely!

But what will the replacement offer that May has not? What is the real deal. And should not a vote on the change of government be more about the state of affairs in Britain and not just about the Brexit deal. Corbin seems more greeny than labor.

Despite all the predictions in the Press and on this forum, I am still not convinced that, when it comes to the vote in Parliament, given the two main options of "May's deal" or "no deal", the vote will be in favour of the latter.  Whether you agree with her or not, she has shown a lot more courage than most of the men in her cabinet, who choose to resign or object to everything she does, without, in the main, coming out with any real solutions of their own.  May's deal, though far from perfect, is surely better than no deal at all, as big business have already said.

In view of that, do not be surprised if, in the vote on December 11th, May's deal is passed, to cheers from roughly half of the population and tears from the other half.

So half the population will be unhappy. Not a happy result. Constant friction. Britain is better than this sort of outcome.

And if another referendum votes to REMAIN, then the UK will be EU's prison bitch for eternity because they'll know that the UK is weak and subservient. The EU will be able to say: "Bend over. bitch!" and the UK will reply: "Give it to me, baby. You know I want it. I'm just so thankful I can make you happy."

Some people watch too much porn.

The UK will have pulled itself back from a monumental error of judgement ... because with the facts on the table, the lies don't work any more.
