Hey, my gf and I are living at a school in Udon. Over summer break, we'd like to move out to an apartment somewhere in town - anyone know where we could find an affordable (5,000 bht or less) apartment with AC in town? Please let me know - thanks a bunch!

Have a look at the AEK Hospital apartments at about 5k per. AC cable TV 25"tv, one room with balcony ,nice bathroom, serviced daily,ultra clean, just ask at the desk on 2nd floor.

How about apartments near the Udon Hospital along the lake? Are there any safe apartments near there, for say, a female student?

We used to live in an apartment block next to Nong Prajack, it's on the opposite side of the lake from Udon Hospital near another private hospital (i think it's called Wattana).

I think it was about 4000bht for a nice studio, it's quiet and the owner speaks some english.

According to the wife it was the only apartment block in Udon that was both affordable and nice.
