Id say it was about even.

You thought that game was even? Really? You got battered for 25 minutes, got a goal against the run of play and City backed off a bit. You were better 2nd half till matic was sent off. Even, ????

Classic example of game (or tie) management. Yes we should have scored with the amount of possession and shots and they got lucky with their goal, totally against the run of play. However, we didn't panic and contained them pretty well. Best team over the two legs went through

Pep has confirmed Bravo will start in the final. Why he does insist on making things difficult for us? The man is ok with his feet, but never keeps shots out. Handicapped again.????

Last night i was seriously worried at his back 3 but i thought they did ok and gave ManU very litle.

In Bangkok for the weekend, does anyone know a decent bar where fellow City lads might congregate for Sunday's game ?

Surely there must be somewhere where City lads meet up, bit of a bad show if there isn't, come on lads help me out, getting desparate now.

I don't think any of the regulars on the footie threads live in bkk so I doubt anybody would be much help.

City fans I know several years back used to meet in the Stumble Inn in Nana but nowadays I have no idea.

Can't even fill your own stadium, not much chance of a pub in Bangkok ????

Sometimes the footballing gods just aren't on your side. That has to be the only explanation for that result

How have you not won that. Absolutely battered them and a different class...........but

Bring on the Champions League. I've had enough of this small potatoes rubbish.:) Bad luck today but overall you have to say City look a bit stale. Maybe the CL can get them fired up.

Where are you these days Ronaldinho? Any contact with your exiled Spurs' brethren?

Bangers is cocktail bars and rooftop places now if you discount the fleshpots.

Probably better luck in Patters these days.

Still lounging in Buenos Aires. Four seasons, blue skies, no hurricanes, no earthquakes, no tornadoes, no super weird viruses...so far.

Calling this the 'dejavu' season. Dominate, all possession, ball won't go in, other team scores from it's one or two chances on the break/from corner/from free kick.

Not surprised to see Ronnie back today (give my best to carms and alfie). I don't remember you ever battering us let alone 3 times (both games this season we've been by far the better team yet amazingly you've got 4 points)...we were even on top with 10 men.

Cruel cruel football.

Ended up going in The Sportsman (Soi 13) unknown to me it was home of the Bangkok branch of the Spurs Supporters club, never realized there are so many Spurs Supporters in Bangkok, tried to keep a low profile which was hard when wearing a City top and came in for the obvious verbals when Spurs scored.

Apparently we are the only one out of the big clubs not to have a supporters bar on match days, perhaps we aren't as big in Thailand as I thought !

As for the game, if Zinchenko hadn't have had a brainstorm we would have probably scored eventually but I suppose our luck had run out with getting away with red cards, still onwards and upwards and now I think the CL should b our aim, just hope we don't draw the Scousers at any stage or even Spurs with the hoodoo they seem to have over us.

You were unlucky. In all honesty, in all the years I've been here, I've rarely seen anyone Thai or Farlang wearing a Spurs shirt - interesting to know that they do exist then.

There is a City supporters club here, but they're all Thais, and where they meet i don't know. I saw plenty of them in November at the FOUR Trophies tour event in Bangna.

It's become a bit of a problem for us this constant dominating of teams, not taking our chances and then conceding 1 from 1 or 2 from 2 to lose points. At Pep's presser he was asked how to fix it. How can you fix it? Aguero has a shot and its deflected on to the post, goalkeepers make great saves, etc, that's not fixable. What is fixable though is: we have 4 vs 2 in the penalty box and Sterling hammers his pass at Gundog who takes it on the stretch, Silva has a clear shot on Degea yards out but he PASSES BACKWARDS TO GUNDOG (what was that about David?), etc. It's fine margins. Some days it goes your way and some days it doesn't, take the rough with the smooth. Apparently Spurs had only 5 shots in our two games, scored 4 goals and took 4 points yet were battered (before Zinchenko was sent off they had 23% possession 2nd half). Our defence is taking lots of flak but to me its the attack's wastefulness that is costing us. Being reported in today's press that during the post-match lock-in meeting, the players made the point to Pep that he changes the team too much too often (EVERY bloody game) and too many formation changes recently. It's an interesting season, and while it's not all plain-sailing like the 2 previous seasons, i am really enjoying watching it, to see how we are constantly adapting to the problems. For me, there's no need to panic, we are there or thereabouts in our performances, Liverpool's hot-streak won't go on for ever, there seems no other team other than Liverpool to be concerned about, so there's no need to 'throw the baby out with the bathwater'.

Not bought anyone cos you are under investigation or because Pep is off end of the season?

How can not buying anybody have anything to do with an investigation? We are still free to buy players

The reason for us not buying is as Pep has been saying for months prior to the window. The chances of the right player being available in january is next to zero (never mind the stupid prices). He will not buy just anyone, he has targets who he wants and should they become available in january then we will try to do a deal, if not, it will wait till summer

Vs WHU Postponed.

My brothers have both used the same term on WhatsApp "weather horrendous".

Personally I'm <deleted> off as I was looking forward to a late game with holiday here tomorrow.

Rumoured game will be on tomorrow...We'll see.

Very annoying for all those blues and WHU fans who've travelled to the game.
