It are not the the Israeli people only, but whole xenophobic atmosphere at the moment triggered by the government to find al kind of ways to bring foreigners with bad news. I wrote before, a lot of foreigners are doing good, but the wrongdoers are being highlighted so it seems that all foreigners are bad. Simple examples about the BTS saga of the young Italian students, businesses used for buying land and built a house, and all the other things that are in the news that give foreigners a bad image. Thailand has outdated laws, wants to be a number one destination for retirees and tourists, but with the outdated strict enforcement of these laws on foreigners they reach the opposite. Laws and rules in a country are for ALL people, locals and tourists and others, and there is need of enforcement, so that visitors see that if they do wrong it is normal to be fined. But as an example, if you hire a motorcycle and don't wear a helmet you will get fined as foreigner, but how many Thai people are driving around without one?? Even the RTP is not wearing them. Compare it to Vietnam or Indonesia were everybody wears a helmet. Enforcement is the word. Now tourists see and think it is no problem, nobody wears so why should we. That is just 1 example and many others can be made. Israelis however are in aal parts of the world not wanted. It is for many hundreds of years already, and the reason is simple too, they believe they are the chosen people and can do as they want. In every country there is a problem with them. Now they are in Thailand, because Thailand does not enforce laws and rules, and they open businesses, have a big mouth and think they are untouchable, which creates the same attitude for others too. Do as you want as nobody cares. Phuket is struggling now as they should have taken action a few years ago to prevent it is going out of the hand, but they need money and money counts first and than the rest, and now there is a problem. Thailand can solve it but it will need to change. Visa for 30 days tourists, longer stay possible if you can give a reason, housing and show money why they want to stay in Thailand. After the visa is expired not allowed to come back for 90 days or 180 days or so. It will cost tourists and money, but it will bring back normal tourists and a lot of less problems of people who don't behave
