So just to be clear, he didn't actually do anything then and approximately ZERO gays had to flee to Canada in the same way that hundreds or thousands of gays have to flee to Isreal from Palestine? So in Trumps America gays can still get married even though he was President for 4 years and didn't actually do anything to take away their rights? You're saying this is equivalent to Palestine? If that is the case it's an easy $1m dollars! When are you going to organise the pride parade? -

I Love Donald Trump
I don't know how anybody can "love" Donald Trump or Kamala Harris as presidential candidates. Look, there is no denying that Trump (and Harris, too) is a stupid person. The difference between the two is that Trump while stupid is on the other hand quite cunning. He's also an uncontrolled narcissist who simply cannot control his emotions. The Taylor Swift controversy is a perfect example of someone not knowing when to shut up and keep quiet. He does do interviews better than Harris and Walz--it might be impossible to find people who do them worse. But for every well played PR move, there is an equally idiotic catastrophe--such as allowing a loon like Laura Loomer on your campaign plane. He's inconsistent and prone to make celebrity news splashing goofs, such as with North Korea in his first term. He ultimately doesn't believe in anything but himself. The trouble is that Harris and Walz may be worse. And with them it's because of what they believe, which they seem desperately trying to hide. -

I throw around a lot of compliments and some come back. When someone compliments me on something genetic and totally out of my control that's taken with a polite smile and a thank you. Compliments that I do feel good about are.. the project ended well, that looks great, that was delicious. You completed your work before everyone else and it was also done extremely well I wasn't talking about some bargirl bola bola and having lived in Pattaya for more than 5 years I can definitely suss that out I'm guessing you don't get many compliments. I'm guessing you're the kind of guy that if someone complimented on your shirt you think that they were after your money. Cynical at best -

Welcome to Thailand! In general, us farangs are the ones who feel we deserve peace and quite (along with some road safety and ability to form a queue), but when push comes to shove, the Thais really know how to blow up an argument... and violence (often lethal) is often the result. My opinion is that the 'western way' is to complain soon, in order to stop later larger problems. But the Thais don't do this. They suppress their anger until it's unmanageable and results in too-extreme actions. Moral of the story 'nip it in the bud' -

Fair enough (that it's specific to pensions), what had confused me was the earlier phrase 'whatever income I get sourced in my home country is taxable in my home country '. Which made it sound like to applied to general income. Someone with income to minimize tax on (especially a high income earner), can't go establish a pension with massive distributions as way to avoid tax. Which is probably why they have more permissive conditions. -
