Hello there, lately I found that if I don't empty my bowel in the morning or I get constipated I will feel very tired the whole day long.

Does anyone have the same problem? I didn't have this problem before. I am in my late 50s. Immediately after the evacuation of the bowel I feel fresh and energy comes back. Is the poison in the bowel flows back into my system? I don't eat much meat. No alcohol. No smoke.  I don't have pile. So what could be the problem. No, no doctor. I don't like them. They make money by asking me "How's your bowel movement?" Do you have fever? You smoke? They take my blood pressure . Then they want lots of money from me just like that.

I like self medication. I am still alive and well that goes to show self-medication works. So this little problem please anyone can share your remedy with me.

Do I eat bananas in the morning to get them shit out? Maybe I should do just that.

Just google "evacuation of the bowel". You will see almost 2 million results.

I guess at least some of them could possibly help you more than a doctor.

Your a smart guy, you will figure it out - sooner or later.

Our bodies change as we age and become more sensitive/less forgiving. Many things that didn't bother you before begin to.

It is perfectly normal to feel a bit unwell if you are constipated and this does not indicate anything wrong.(other than the constipation).

A diet high in fiber will solve the problem. Salads, vegetables, fruit, oatmeal, whole grains etc.

Along with Sheryl's advice above, I recommend a ginger tea drink called Hotta Plus. Each sachet contains 4,000 mg of fiber and is a healthy drink as well as a good source of fiber. One a day really helps to get things moving. And, of course, being natural, it's in line with your self medication philosophy. You can buy it on-line from Lazada if you can't find it locally.

Exercise is also important. Even a daily walk can help and I also recommend doing a few squats each day, if you can. And do make sure you drink enough water.

Lifestyle adjustments will usually resolve this problem and you have the right attitude. Good luck.
