UK LEAVING EUROPE

Featured Replies

No, it will still be part of Europe, just not in the EU

Do we really need another article? If they crash out they are <deleted>. And they can only blame themselves.

Some months ago I thought with all the evidence on the table by now leavers must realize what a stupid and unrealistic idea Brexit was.

But there are still some people who don't want to listen and who don't want to know facts.

Today I read an article which compares them with religious fanatics. It's impossible to argue with religious fanatics based on facts. They just don't care. And it's the same problem with lots of Brexiters...

The EU paper makes interesting reading. The key point of course is that none of this was even remotely in the minds of (1) all those who slagged off about the EU over decades (2) the idiot (Cameron) who called the referendum (3) the con artists who conned their way to semi-success in the referendum (4) the wunnerful British citizens who, with 'Land of Hope and Glory' resounding inside their heads, voted for Brexit.

Still, everyone will have plenty of time to pour over the documentation as they stand or sit in the neverending queues.

Better 'Land of Hope and Glory'  in my head than 'Deutschland Uber Alles'

So many BREXIT threads running already, do we really need a new one?

It seems the Brexit information thread is closed, my post was not intended to start a discussion, just provide a link. there should be a way of disabling comments
